Core subject KS2 to GCSE freelance tutors for LAC and Young People with SEND required in Bexley and surrounding areas.

There are over 2 million vulnerable children in the UK. 1.6 million of these have no established, recognised form of education support to meet their needs.

We require experienced educators to tutor looked after young people, and those with SEND in the Greater London area. This tuition primarily covers the core subjects (English, Maths, and Science), from KS2 through to GCSE. Experience working with young people in care, children in need and/or those with SEND is highly desirable.

Tuition will normally take place in the home of the young person, with the carer or parent present at all times. The number of hours varies from 1 - 15 hours per week, per student. There is also the possibility to take on multiple students per week, if desired.

Update regarding COVID-19: We are committed to supporting and maintaining stability for the young people we work with throughout the current uncertainties. We are taking steps to ensure this can be done safely and in-line with government recommendations. We continue to require tutors to support our young people and implications for ways of working will be discussed at interview.
