Job overview

We are seeking an innovative, enthusiastic and committed KS3 History Coordinator to join our newly formed Social Sciences department. History is a core subject at KS3 and a popular GCSE and A level choice. As a department we achieve good exam results at KS4 and some outstanding results at KS5. 

We have extensive shared resources to support in the teaching of KS3, KS4 and KS5 lessons.

A TLR2a is available to a suitably qualified candidate who is willing to take on coordinator responsibilities for continual development of Key Stage 3 schemes of work, ensuring that they are accompanied by appropriate learning materials that enable students to make progress.

Edmonton County School is a co-educational, non-denominational, community all-through school in Enfield, Middlesex. The school is split across two campuses, with the primary phase located on Bury Street and the secondary facilities on Great Cambridge Road. There are about 1,687 children aged 4-18 on the school roll, 278 of whom attend the sixth form.
