Job overview

We are seeking a highly effective classroom practitioner to support continued high standards of teaching and pupil progress throughout the Maths Department at KS3. The post-holder will also work with the Head of Department to reform and deliver the whole school Numeracy Policy and to take a lead responsibility in ensuring that this is implemented across the KS3 curriculum.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented teacher to join our thriving and highly effective Maths Department with GCSE results once again above national averages in 2017.  The successful candidate will join a committed team of teachers who are passionate about engaging and inspiring young people aged 11-16 in their learning across the whole ability range. Our Maths Department offers the opportunity to share the good practice of experienced and highly effective colleagues whilst also developing and contributing your own ideas and approaches.
