Oaklands School requires a pastoral assistant from January 2019 to join the pastoral team at Key Stage 3. The successful candidate will be a key member of the school’s KS3 Pastoral Team, working with staff and students in that key stage. Our pastoral teams are committed to ensuring the academic, personal and social development of our students, maintaining high standards of behaviour and celebrating success. You must be able to relate to young people and their parents/carers, and have the ability to liaise with teachers and other professionals. You will need energy, patience, a sense of humour, a strong character and be committed to lifelong learning. Good communication skills are essential.
