Job overview
Vision for Education are currently looking for an Class Teacher to start working at a KS3 and KS4 Specialist Provision in Leeds the caters for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues. This will be a long term contact which will hopefully go permanent for the right candidate. The role of the candidate will be to take the pupils out every morning to either a cafe, the park, or another outdoor/indoor activity as well as once a week doing a more high budget activity such as bowling or going to the cinema. In the afternoons, the students will take part in core subject lessons as well as PSCHE lessons. The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- Experience working in a similar provision before
- Have a mini-bus licence
- Be comfortable supporting students in the local community
- Hold QTS
- Be able to build relationships with and motivate disaffected pupils
- Be Team Teach trained or willing to undergo the necessary training
