Bicester Technology Studio School opened in September 2016 and offers a unique education for students aged 14 to 19 specialising in Business and Engineering. We provide core academic education alongside technical and vocational learning. We are part of the Activate Learning group, which brings together secondary, further and higher education, along with workforce training, management consultancy, commercial businesses and social enterprise.

Our aim is to provide an outstanding education to all of our students through innovative teaching methods, active and project based learning, first class facilities and personalised support. It is a stimulating place in which to learn and to work and it is an exciting time to be part of a new school.

We require an enthusiastic, outstanding and student focused part time KS4 English Teacher who will work alongside the Head of Faculty to promote high standards and expectations. You will plan and deliver high quality, imaginative and inspirational teaching, learning and assessment according to our Learning Philosophy, which meets the needs of all our students on a range of programmes.

You will hold a teaching qualification and a relevant degree. You will also have outstanding communication skills to enable you to deliver high standards of teaching and learning.

We welcome and encourage prospective candidates to come and see us and get a feel for our school. To arrange a visit, please contact Samantha Thompson at Sam.Thompson@bicestertechstudio.org.uk.

If you would like any additional information about this post, or to have an informal chat with the Principal, please contact Richard Brown by email Richard.Brown@bicestertechstudio.org.uk

Any person offered a position will be required to complete a DBS disclosure. BTS is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
