Are you passionate about improving and promoting outcomes for Looked After children and Young Carers and have a proven track record of understanding, inspiring and motivating young people?

We are looking for an inspirational and professional LAC/PLAC & Young Carer Coordinator to join our pastoral team in this new, rewarding role. You will support students, parents and external agencies to achieve maximum involvement in the child's education and  inspire students aged 11 – 16 to achieve their full potential and continue their enjoyment of school. 

You will be experienced in monitoring the achievement and progression of students within an educational setting and have a sound understanding of the range of issues facing young people with barriers to their learning specifically those who are looked after or care leavers. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and committed, have excellent interpersonal skills in working with students, be highly organised and able to work on your own initiative.

The ability to remain calm, work to tight deadlines and have a problem solving approach is integral to this role. 

Previous experience of working with young people within a school environment is essential.
