St Anthony's School, Kedron is seeking an enthusiastic and capable Italian Language teacher to introduce the Italian language and associated culture to all students from Prep to Year 6 over a 3 day period- Tuesday to Thursday (6 hrs x 3 days= 18 hours per week) The successful applicant should be able to address the following criteria in their application: The applicant must have; * knowledge and understanding of the Languages Curriculum from Prep to Year 6; * experience in planning, assessing and reporting in the Languages curriculum; *an openness to work collaboratively with others to build a positive environment where learning a language is valued and relevant; *an ability to strategically plan for and implement a school-wide immersion in the Italian language and associated culture; *an ability to actively engage students in the learning process (for example behaviour management; feedback, digital technology and innovative practices). The letter of application should include the contact details of two professional referees, including your current line manager (if applicable).

St Anthony’s School, Kedron is a co-educational Catholic primary school (Prep to Year 6 for girls and Prep to Year 4 for boys) administered by Brisbane Catholic Education. Current Enrolments = 665 students. Our Franciscan tradition rests on the charisms of St Francis, St Anthony, St Clare and St Therese. St Anthony’s school enjoys a unique relationship with two Franciscan order independent schools, Padua College and Mt Alvernia College. Together the three schools work in partnership as an educational entity which is known in the local area as FOTH (Franciscans on the Hill).
