This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher to become a Lead Practitioner supporting teaching, learning and assessment across the Mathematics Faculty and wider College. As a central part of the team, you will provide excellent support for colleagues across the College on their journey to outstanding, whilst maintaining your own excellent standards each day in the classroom
You will be an outstanding teacher of mathematics with a proven record of ‘outstanding’ results and demonstrable evidence of improving the practice of others. Responsibilities will include the sharing of best practice, mentoring underperforming colleagues and embedding systems and practices that lead to improved outcomes for all students. You will have a confident and empathetic approach to mentoring colleagues and will lead on training and development both within the Mathematics Department and across the College. The ability to teach mathematics to A-Level is desirable.
