Lead Practitioner - Maths

This is the perfect role for those who are either currently in senior leadership positions and who want wider experience before applying for Deputy or Vice Principal posts, or those already in those positions and looking for a change. The Lead Practitioner for Maths will assist the Vice-Principal with responsibility for Teaching & Learning, and will work closely alongside the Head of Department.

The role is diverse and you will be required to undertake a range of activities including coaching, planning, delivering training, tracking teacher and leadership development, assisting with teacher recruitment and retention, modelling strong practice, assisting with data analysis and working with curriculum and teaching and learning leads to strengthen and develop the Maths Department.  You will also undertake a teaching commitment, but appropriate time will be allocated to your Lead Practitioner Role.
