Lead Sports Coach - Football

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join the thriving Sports Department at JESS (Arabian Ranches) as a Lead Football Coach. We are looking for someone who has played and coached to a good level in Football. They must be passionate about sport and wish to share this with enthusiastic and energetic young people.

JESS aspires to cement its position as a leading sporting school in the region and is looking to excel further whilst delivering a lively and stimulating curriculum. The department is well resourced and supported. This is a very exciting opportunity for the right candidate.

The role requires and involves the following;

• To promote, lead and coordinate the girls football programme across JESS

• Lead training for team squads (under 8 to under 18) and teach curriculum lessons

• Squad and Team selection

• Organise fixtures and tournaments

• Assist with other lessons, sports, teams and activities

• Being involved in after school and weekend fixtures for all sports

• Being an integral part of the department and school community

• An ability to work as part of a team

• Good communication, administrative and organisational skills

• Be able to carry out the administrative tasks of team selection, communication with pupils, parents and other schools

• To improve and develop links with local clubs

• Liaise with our external provider on the provision of football at JESS

• Be an integral part of the school community
