OUTREACH TEACHER VACANCY- PART-TIME 

Lancasterian School is an outstanding special school for pupils with a physical disability, complex medical needs, sensory impairments (Hearing and/or visual impairment), complex speech and language difficulties requiring augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).    

There are currently 108 pupils that attend from EYFS to 16yrs. Are you looking for an exciting challenge? Do you want to join our LOIS Team? We are an enthusiastic truly collaborative team that strives to achieve our goal of excellence.  We have established very good outreach support with our partner mainstream schools across Manchester Local Authority. The previous post holder retires at the end of term and we are advertising for:   

Lead Teacher for Outreach and Inclusion  TLR2 + 1 SEN Point – Part time 0.6 Required for September 2018  

The Governors seek to appoint a dynamic, hard working individual to this post, able to provide training, advice and support to mainstream. You will have some experience as a middle manager, be an excellent teacher and have aspirations to develop your career further. You will be responsible for leading and managing the outreach work along with the other part-time outreach lead. The focus of the work will be in the area of physical disability, complex medical needs and associated learning difficulties. A clear vision for outreach support and  committment to team work are essential attributes. The successful applicant will benefit from working in a school with a positive, caring, ethos where team work is important and a supportive staff development and training programme is available.
