Lead Teacher of Computing

Fulham Senior SchoolHammersmith and Fulham

We are looking for a committed, passionate, and enthusiastic part-time Computing teacher (0.6, equivalent to 3-days, but would consider full-time with additional responsibilities for the right candidate), to lead the Computing department at Fulham Senior, with responsibility for Children from Year 9 to Year 12. This is a chance to join a thriving Computing team across Fulham School, working alongside colleagues at Prep and Pre-Prep, and help to contribute to excellent provision at an exciting time. We are developing both our facilities and our curriculum and are looking ahead to the launch of our Sixth Form from September 2021 so there is a real opportunity to play a role in how our Art offer takes shape over coming years.

We are teaching in a new, purpose-built building and are currently developing our curriculum in anticipation of the launch of our Sixth Form from September 2021. To this end Fulham Senior is a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme and pursuing authorization as an IB World School.

Fulham Senior is part of Fulham School: an independent co-educational school for children from Reception upwards. Co-education and celebrating diverse abilities across academic, creative and sporting pursuits are at the heart of all we do. Teachers are expected to play a full role in the pastoral and extracurricular life of the school.

Fulham School has its own competitive pay range and benefits. Our campuses are located in the heart of Fulham and well-connected to public transport routes.

Fulham School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment.
