An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an outstanding Lead Teacher of English at Danesfield Middle School. You will be joining a dynamic and supportive team who are individually and collectively passionate about the learning and progress of our students and who provide an excellent source of support and inspiration.

Job Purpose

The lead teacher will have a key role within the school to provide outstanding teaching and learning and have responsibility for their subject at KS2 and KS3.

• This role will focus on the coordination and leading of English across KS2&3 

• The post holder will have a teaching commitment across both key stages

• The postholder will be responsible for raising the attainment, experience and achievement in English across the school

• The role will require superb subject knowledge and the most up to date understanding of pedagogy to support all pupils no matter what their starting point.

We can offer a comprehensive induction and targeted CPD as well as a number of opportunities trust-wide to support the development of literacy and English in our schools.
