Can you make a difference to the lives of our young people?

We are seeking to recruit Learning Advisors to join the SEND Team to complement the work of the teachers by assisting in both curriculum and pastoral areas of the school. Duties will include covering lessons, administration and mentoring students. The Learning Advisors will be attached to a faculty within the school. 

Ideally you will have experience in being able to provide support and guidance to students by removing barriers to learning, in order to promote effective participation, enhance individual learning, encourage social inclusion, raise aspiration and achieve potential. By providing this support, you will enable students to talk about their concerns and be able to work within an extended range of networks and partnerships to facilitate support and learning opportunities and improve the lives of these students.

Campion School in Bugbrooke, Near Northampton, is a co-educational secondary school. It became a Language College in September 1997 and an academy in 2011.

The school adopts the latest teaching pedagogy and staff engage in an internal teaching and learning development programme called “XL” (Leading to Excellent Teaching).  A continual evaluation cycle measures the effectiveness of Campion School’s work and identifies the next steps to be taken to ensure continuous improvement in all areas of teaching and learning.

To ensure that all students in the sixth form are challenged an motivated, the latest equipment for interactive lessons is utilised.
