Westminster City School is a successful 11-18 Christian non-denominational comprehensive academy for boys with a mixed sixth form. We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and capable colleague, ideally a graduate or someone with equivalent experience in a secondary school to carry out the role of Learning Mentor. You will carry out a variety of tasks including student facing and administrative tasks to support the school improve. Having excellent record keeping and time management skills are essential for this role. You will need to employ a professional and assertive attitude whilst having an approachable manner delivered with good humour.  Ability to be flexible and manage a variety of tasks whilst meeting deadlines is important.   

This is a term time only position, plus a week in the school summer holidays for sixth form enrolment.  There is a compulsory paid lunch duty.  You will be required to attend parents evening and other before/after school events related to the Sixth Form. You will be responsible for monitoring and improving student attendance and punctuality.  You will be expected to take a holistic view of student attendance, conduct and progress, liaising with school staff and external bodies, to effect positive outcomes.
