Edgbarrow is located in the village of Crowthorne, Berkshire.  It is a thriving, vibrant and high-achieving secondary school where students are polite, happy, well behaved and motivated.  It has been judged by Ofsted as outstanding.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to provide general support to our SENCO.  This will predominantly be through the provision of in-class support to individual (or groups of) students, helping them to develop and achieve their full potential (under the direction of the class teacher).     Experience and/or qualification in the English curriculum would be an advantage.  You must have good numeracy and literacy skills and have experience of working with or caring for children between the ages of 11 and 18.  To have completed the DFE Teacher Assistant Induction programme would also be an advantage.  This post would be particularly suitable for anyone who might be interested in joining the teaching profession

Edgbarrow School believes in setting the highest standards in all areas of school life and we are looking for a purposeful and committed individual who wants to join and enhance our strong team.  We offer an excellent induction programme, promotion prospects and a highly supportive working environment.

If you are interested in joining Edgbarrow School and you have the skills and the qualities required for this post, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Employment is with Corvus Learning Trust and not Bracknell Forest Council.  The trust is very popular and for most posts a large number of applications are received - it is thus not possible to notify all applicants of the outcome.  Please accept that if you have not heard within three weeks of the closing date then, unfortunately, your application has been unsuccessful - in which case we offer our best wishes for the future.

For further information regarding the school please see www.edgbarrowschool.co.uk

Closing date: Noon, 1 June 2020

Please note that all applications will be considered upon receipt.  We reserve the right to close the advert early should the right candidate apply.
