This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled Learning Support Assistant to join our successful secondary school Learning Support Team and contribute to the wider life of this busy holistic school community.
We are seeking to appoint, as soon as possible, an outstanding Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with SEND or EAL.
We would welcome applications from candidates with specialist knowledge and experience in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and/or English as an Additional Language or a graduate wishing to take their first steps into a career in education. You must be highly organised, with strong time management and IT skills.
This Learning Support Assistant will support students individually, in small groups and in class so that they are able to access the school curriculum to the best of their ability in order to reach their potential.
The salary range for this position is between £16,000 and £18,00 per annum depending upon qualifications and experience. The normal working hours for this position are 37.5 hours per week for all of school term time including inset days (normally 35 weeks per year).
