Job overview
Launceston College are looking for three Learning Support Assistants to join their team, one as a mainstream LSA and two in the ARB unit.
The role of a LSA is a pro-active one in the support of students’ educational, social and physical needs; to support the curriculum and the College through the provision of assistance to the teacher in the practical organisation of class activities and small group work.
Role 1 (mainstream):
This role is 25 hours, term time only on a fixed term basis until August 2023, with the possibility to extend for the right candidate.
Role 2 (ARB):
This role is 32.5 hours, one to one support for a student with EHCP who is moving into the 6th form, term time only on a fixed term basis until the student completes their studies at Launceston College.
Role 3 (ARB)
This role is 26 hours, term time only on a fixed term basis until August 2023, with the possibility to extend for the right candidate.
Grade B, £9.90 per hour, with effect from September 2022 (£19,099 FTE)
Actual salary based on 25 hours £10,674.24.
Actual salary based on 32.5 hours £13,876.52
Actual salary based on 26 hours £11,101.22
