(28.63 hours a week over 38 weeks, 1088 hours a year)

The Governors are pleased to advertise the post of Learning Support Assistant to work under the instruction/guidance of senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes for students. Work may be carried out in the classroom or may take place outside the main teaching area. 

Ideally the successful candidate will have recent experience in this work but persons with an organised, sensitive approach and an interest in working with children will also be considered. The successful candidate will have good standards of literacy, numeracy and IT skills and be prepared to support students' additional needs e.g.  administering medication or carrying out bespoke mobility programmes - training will be given.
