We are now looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant in our secondary school to start at the end of August 2019. The post holder will be responsible for providing support to individual pupils across the secondary school, responding to their personal needs and ensuring that they are able to access all learning activities. The Learning Support Assistant will be required to establish constructive relationships with pupils where they are encouraged to interact with others and engage in classroom activities and set challenging and demanding expectations that promote self-esteem and independence.
The ideal candidate would have; some experience working with children in a similar capacity; have an understanding of how to provide support to SEND pupils to achieve the very best outcomes; some experience of working in an educational setting and above all, a supportive and sensitive approach to children with specific needs.
A high standard of written and spoken English is an essential requirement for all our positions.
This is a non-sponsored position based at our Al Waab Campus and only candidates with family sponsorship currently residing in Qatar will be considered.

Teaching staff will also be subject to a Barred List and Prohibition from Teaching Check.
