Rosemead Preparatory School are looking to recruit, on behalf of the parents of one of its pupils, a Learning Support Assistant to start work as soon as possible. This role is to support and work one to one with a Year 3 pupil who has diagnosed autism and includes classroom support and carrying out EHCP provision under guidance of professionals such as Occupational Therapy, Speech And Language Therapy and a behavioural consultant.
No direct qualifications are necessary, but any autism/special needs experience would be an advantage. There would be significant liaison with the parents and the school as to the needs of the pupil.
This can either be a full time or part time position depending on the flexibility and experience of the successful candidate.
Although the Learning Support Assistant would work primarily in the school during normal school hours, they would be employed solely by the parents and be accountable to them for contractual terms etc
This is a term time only position, although there is the possibility for some part time holiday work also.
