Learning Support Assistant

North East Essex Co-operative Academy is recruiting an ambitious and forward thinking individual to join our team of Learning Support Assistants. The secondary school has just moved to a brand new building in Walnut Tree Way, Colchester, it is an exciting time for the school and any new recruits!!!!

Do you have an interest in pupils with Special Educational Needs, supporting transition and developing young learners' social skills?

The role is a varied and demanding one, you will need resilience and commitment, as many of our pupils have found mainstream education challenging.

You will need to be able to demonstrate that you can work effectively on your own and as part of a very supportive team.

The role is also suitable for new or experienced LSA's who would like to develop their knowledge of SEN, SEMH and transition, but ideally you will have a background in any child setting. This role will be working with KS3 and KS4 students.

Actual salary between £19,884 to £21,000 - 37 hours per week Term Time Only.
