We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to provide support for an individual child in Year 4 with complex SEN needs, global delay and speech and language issues.   You would also be required to help the class teacher with classroom organisation and administration as well as to support individual children on the playground if required.  This post is event linked which means that when the child leaves the school the post will cease.

Experience of with children with SEN is essential and you should have experience of working with children in a main stream educational setting and hold a qualification in childcare. You will need to have good verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to helping children to do their best.    

You will support children’s learning and development, help to plan and organise activities and the learning environment and, contribute to the overall ethos, work and aims of the school.  You will also be required to participate in training and other learning activities as necessary. 

You will be joining a hard working and friendly team and you will be provided with support, guidance and training organized by our SENCo.
