If you are an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking for a new role then St Columba's College has the opportunity for you to support a Year 10 student approaching his GCSE studies. The role will involve supporting the student in lessons across the curriculum and if necessary during unstructured times of the day. You will be able to:
• Engage with students whilst enforcing positive classroom behaviour
• Be an excellent communicator as the role will involve working closely with class teachers, the SENCO and parents.
• Be highly articulate and numerate in order to support GCSE studies and potentially A Levels
• Be hardworking, flexible, resilient and able to use own initiative as well as work as part of a team
