We have a vacancy for a Learning Support Assistant – Humanities Specialism.  This area of the College is high profile with an excellent record of success in the wider achievements of our students.

Reporting to our SENCO, we are seeking an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant – Humanities Specialism to join a highly performing and dedicated team.  You will already have experience and enjoy both the challenge and reward of working with children who experience learning difficulties. You should be prepared to work with students across the age range, and students with significant physical disabilities. You will have the ability to work with the team in the preparation of individual learning plans and learning resources.  You will be joining a highly performing team with a proven track record of delivering excellent results.

Key information

• Contract: Permanent contract, Full-time 40.75 hours per week

• Working hours:  Monday – Thursday 8.15am – 4.30pm and Friday 8.15am – 3.30pm

• Start date: 25 August 2022

• Salary: £22,000, plus daily meal allowance

• Closing Date: 10 July 2022

Derby is a vibrant and exciting city, located right in the heart of the UK. The city has a developed arts and culture scene and the area has a great Geography. The College is located just a few minutes’ walk away from Derby city centre.

Derby provides great range of sports and leisure facilities and is the gateway to the Peak District. Within a 10 minutes’ drive of the city you will find yourself in the beautiful open Derbyshire countryside with unspoilt villages, historic houses and adventurous attractions.
