Colchester Academy is a thriving secondary school, looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to plan and lead intervention sessions for small groups of students (literacy, numeracy, EAL and other interventions) and assist with the development and review of IEPs.

The appointment is term time only, 38 weeks per year, 32.5 hours per week.

Colchester Academy is a secondary school located in the heart of Colchester, Essex, and recently graded ‘GOOD’ by OFSTED (2018). This is an incredibly exciting time in our journey, as we have just joined a local Academy Chain, South Suffolk Learning Trust (SSLT). 

We are looking to appoint someone intent upon driving up standards, delivering excellent teaching and inspiring the same in others, and helping lead the school towards excellence.
