About the role:

City and Islington College are looking to recruit hourly paid experienced classroom assistants to work at their centres with learners with EHCPs who have support and learning needs. Students range from those with moderate learning disabilities, Autistic spectrum, social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH), severe learning disabilities and profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD).

About you:

We are looking to recruit a male candidate for this role as there is a genuine occupational requirement to provide personal care to a male learner.

We are particularly keen to receive applications from prospective employees who have worked with young people with challenging behaviour, and those who have a can-do attitude to towards working with young people with additional needs which are sometimes complex.
