St Clement's High School are seeking to appoint a high quality and proactive teaching assistant to join their dedicated and friendly team.

This is a great opportunity for a patient and supportive person to join our friendly school and make a real difference to a childs achievement and progress. You will support the needs of named pupil/pupils who require help to overcome barriers to learning, managing the provision of support for students with special educational needs. You will be empathetic, believe in the value of education for all, and have a genuine wish to make a difference and support young people in achieving their potential.

If you are someone who believes that all students, regardless of their personal circumstances can excel and you have the ability to set high expectations in order to motivate and inspire, then this job is for you.

You will need to have good communication and interpersonal skills, high expectations and a real commitment to achieving the very highest of standards, helping keep pupils engaged and on track during each lesson with strong behavioural management skills.

28 hours/week, 39 weeks/year (term time +1) Start Sept 22- 1 year  temporary contract until 31 August 2023

Scale C, Pt, 3-4, £9.79-£9.99/hour. Approx £12,186 - £12,430/per year (£18,887-£19,264/year FTE based on a 37-hour week) Please note the full-time equivalent salary shown will be prorated to the number of weeks worked plus holiday entitlement.

St Clement's High School is part of the West Norfolk Academy Trust which was developed from the success of Springwood High School and also includes Marshland High School, and Smithdon High School.

The school is located in the village of Terrington St Clement which is approximately seven miles from the historic town of Kings Lynn, from where there are regular train links to London and Cambridge. The picturesque North Norfolk coastline is also within easy travelling distance.
