Job overview

12 hours per week term time only. This is a one year fixed term contract (which could lead to permanent position) providing focused support across school for EAL pupils. We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and highly skilled Bilingual Teaching Assistant (Romanian speaking) to support our team.

The successful applicant must have:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Experience in delivering intervention programmes to support reading, writing and mathematics
  • Experience of working with primary school age pupils
  • The ability to work with a range of pupils with different needs, including SEND and EAL
  • Excellent subject knowledge in literacy and mathematics
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
