Job overview

We are looking to appoint highly motivated, dedicated Learning SUpport Assistants working one to one within the outstanding, nurturing environment of our Nursery classes in either Belgravia, Pimlico or Knightsbridge .  The role is part time 20 hours per week.

Role: To assist and support our pupil with special educational needs. The support assistant will also uphold the aims and objectives of the school and promote these whenever possible.  The support assistant will provide the highest level of support in accordance with the school’s aims, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• To provide 1-1 learning support for a pupil in our Nursery School

• To develop knowledge of the particular needs of the child and seek advice from the SENDCo, teacher and outside agencies as required

• To aid access to the full range of learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom and provide modified materials as required i.e. games and visual prompt cards

• To work as part of the team to ensure that the well being and personal, social and emotional development of the pupil enhances their learning opportunities and life skills
