Working hours from: 8.30am-5pm (Monday to Friday)

Location: Cambridge
Due to a growth in student number Cambridge Regional College is seeking confident and motivated Learning Support Mentors to join our diverse and dynamic team.
You will work with teachers to raise the learning and attainment of young people while promoting their social inclusion, self-esteem and independence. You will get the opportunity to support students in all vocational areas of the college and assist them to access the curriculum, participate in learning and fulfil their potential.
You will need to be able to use your own initiative while out in support of learners,dealing with situations with tact and empathy. The need to be flexible in your approach is imperative. You will need to be qualified to GCSE Grade Cor equivalent in English and Maths and have experience of working with people with supportive learning needs.

Cambridge Regional College is a co-educational further education college located in Cambridge. Providing places to students aged 14 and over, the college has several thousand learners young and old, full and part-time. Cambridge Regional College has seen extensive redevelopment and modernisation over the years, and as such can boast of a wide range of modern teaching and recreational facilities, with the most recent major development, which opened in 2011, providing the college with a brand new Low Carbon Centre. The college also plays host to a number of vocational teaching workshops and study areas.
