Job overview
We are seeking applications from Learning Support Teachers to support students in achieving educational success, specialising in Years 7-10 (with the ability to support 11-12 if required), for an immediate start for the 2019 academic year, with potential to extend in 2020.
Either 2 x 0.5 FTE (3 days), or 1 full-time if able to support Mathematics and English.
- NESA registered learning support teacher or high school teacher with learning support experience
- current NSW WWCC
- experience delivering literacy / numeracy strategies
- strong working knowledge of NSW/Australian curriculum standards
- ability to differentiate, modify and implement curriculum to suit individual needs
- excellent communication skills
- evidence of identification
- copies of academic transcripts and qualifications
