We are looking for an outstanding Art & Design / Graphic Design lecturer to join our Creative Arts Department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking, enthusiastic and highly progressive team, who provide students with the technical skills and knowledge essential to succeed the creative arts sector. Many School for the Arts alumni have progressed to achieve sustainable, high-profile employment within the creative industries.
You will have a proven track record and be able to achieve success through the use of innovative teaching and learning approaches that enthuse and engage learners. Excellence in teaching, learning and assessment will be supported by industry relevant sequential planning, timely marking and comprehensive feedback. You will have a detailed understanding of the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework and be experienced in the delivery of the current BTEC RQF Performance Practice and Industry Skills qualifications.
As a key part of this position, you will be required to carry out a Course Leadership / Personal Tutor role with associated administration, IQA and Internal Verification duties.
Applicants for this post must possess a Degree or equivalent level qualification in Art & Design related subject and/or relevant industry experience as a minimum requirement. A Further Education relevant teaching qualification is desirable. It is also requested that at interview, examples of personal and student work is presented for discussion.
