Job overview
HCUC is a highly successful Further Education College in West London. We require a full time Lecturer to join our supportive and friendly team. You would plan and deliver across a range of programmes within the Basic Education curriculum, including RARPA, and develop the work of the department with particular focus on those learners with more complex special educational and communication needs. You will also be involved in the development of the programmes within the area.
You will need to possess a degree or equivalent and a Level 3 SEND qualification, with experience of teaching learners with Special Educational Needs. You will have up-to-date knowledge of the Code of Practice and Foundation Learning. If you are not fully teacher qualified, the College will support you to obtain the Diploma in Education and Training (DET).
