Lecturer – Culinary Arts (full-time or part-time opportunity available)

£26,430 - £41,552 per annum
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced specialist Lecturer – Culinary Arts to work within our team.
The role will essentially be for a Culinary Arts Lecturer to run Level 3 Professional Cookery and HND programme. The chosen candidate will therefore need a solid background in kitchen management.
The successful applicant will:
• be committed to delivering the highest standard of teaching
• assess learning outcomes, with a proven record of excellent success rates
• monitor, evaluate and improve the quality and effectiveness of own practice and of the learning programmes
• prepare and develop resources for teaching and learning
• inspire and motivate students at all levels
• be a team player with excellent communication skills
• have extensive experience in identifying and assessing learner's needs, organising and delivering learner inductions as well as planning and delivering assessments for learners in a variety of settings
• hold a minimum Level 3 Professional Cookery qualification (or equivalent) with significant practical experience in high end restaurants or hotels.
• hold an A1 Assessor Award and/or a or V1 Internal Verifiers Award
• hold a current teaching qualification
• have Maths and English GCSE (grade A*- C or level 2 equivalent)

Welcome to our Redbridge campuses. We have two campuses in Redbridge – at Chadwell Heath, near to the King George Hospital and at International House, in Ilford town centre.
