West Suffolk College is one of the country’s leading further education and apprenticeship providers. Our apprenticeship results have consistently remained above the national average. We offer many degrees, HNCs and HNDs at our focused and inclusive University Studies Centre. We have around 13,000 students including nearly 2,000 apprentices studying with us.

We are looking to recruit an inspiring ESOL Lecturer who can meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.  The successful applicant will be able to competently deliver accredited ESOL Lessons with a CELTA or equivalent Level 5 ESOL qualification. 

The role will focus on enabling people with English as an additional language to progress into further study and employment, whilst developing strong links within the college and with the local community. 

The ESOL team are experienced, creative and dedicated to enabling students from a variety of cultures and backgrounds to achieve their full potential. Ideally you will have experience of working professionally in this field and be an enthusiastic team member who is flexible and used to working under pressure. 

This role will involve travel across the Bury/Peterborough/Chatteris/Alconbury areas teaching at a variety of locations, some evening sessions will also be required as part of the role.
