Job overview

Uxbridge College is a highly successful Further Education College situated in West London.  Our Health and Social Care Section is a successful, dynamic and vibrant area of the College, delivering a range of courses to learners, primarily aged 16-19.  We are seeking to appoint an individual with experience of working in the Health/Social Care sector to teach across BTEC (QCF/RQF) Level 1-4 programmes.   


You will possess a degree in a relevant subject area and an advanced level teaching qualification suitable for FE (PGCE, DET or equivalent) or be willing to work towards one, supported financially by the College.  You will need to possess experience of working in the Health/Social Care Sector, together with some previous teaching or training experience, and will have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to engage young people aged 16-19.
