The A Level Directorate within Middlesbrough College, based in a dedicated A Level Centre- MC6, within the College Campus, are looking to recruit an experienced Lecturer in Biology to deliver excellent lessons to students studying on level 3 programmes.

The department offers BTEC L3 Applied Science (and will be moving to the reformed qualification from 2019), Advanced Level Biology and L3 Applied Human Biology. All awarding bodies have external assessment and therefore it is vital that the candidate has the ability to prepare students for examinations. Science is a high performing area with excellent progression from the courses studied. We offer excellent facilities and a stimulating learning environment, where students are challenged to reach their full potential.

The college has links with over 1000 employers and over 1000 of its students progressed to university in 2016. The college also has a purpose built sixth form centre (MC6) boasting a 100% pass rate in 19 subjects.
