An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and energetic professional to join the Carpentry & Joinery team at Chesterfield College. 

The new team member will be required to teach on a range of programmes from Levels 1 Technical Certificate up to Level 3. Applicants should have at least a Level 3 qualification in Carpentry and Joinery and have varied experience working in the Industry. The successful candidate will have a passion for their subject and a desire to train the next generation of carpenters and joiners. 

Possession of a teacher training qualification would also be an advantage as would a relevant assessor award.  However a willingness to work towards these qualifications would be acceptable. An ability to offer Key Skills or Functional Skills would also be an advantage.
