Job overview

We are looking to recruit an outstanding Lecturer in Engineering to join the team. If you have a genuine passion for engineering, are relentless in your pursuit of quality and want to help shape both the current and future workforce, then we want to hear from you. The successful candidate would be required to teach on a range of Engineering programmes at Level 2, 3, 4 and 5 delivering a range of subjects. We deliver a range of apprenticeship programmes, full time level 2 and 3 as well as HNC/D and an Extended Degree programme with the University of Hertfordshire. We have a large number of students and apprentices who attend on full time and day release programmes.

The ideal candidate will have excellent Electrical and Electronic Engineering skills and knowledge to be able to teach on apprenticeship and full time programmes. An assessor qualification is desirable but not essential. You will have a genuine regard for young people and want to work with us to ensure that all our students and Apprentices aspire to do well. The ability to work in a team is essential, sharing good practice and working collaboratively with colleagues are qualities that we will be looking for.

Full Time – 37 hours per week  £29,687 - £33,473 per annum – Depending on Skills and Experience  42 Days annual leave + bank holidays Based at the Welwyn Garden City Campus
