Job overview

We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Lecturer Film Production to join the team at The Northern School of Creative Industries. The ideal candidate will have a degree in film or media production, and current experience of practical film production. Confident use of appropriate camera, sound and/or editing equipment and software packages is essential as is a creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning. Experience of teaching on Level 4 – 6 courses is essential.

You will teach on practical film and media production modules across the HND Creative Media Production and BA (hons) Film courses. The role involves the preparation, delivery and assessment of teaching and learning as well as some pastoral responsibility. The NSCI actively promotes a collaborative approach, and you will be expected to contribute to creative projects with colleagues from across the School and wider Faculty.
