Job overview

We are welcoming applications for a Lecturer in GCSE Maths.  Joining us as a Lecturer in Maths you will be responsible for delivering high-quality GCSE Maths to our learners. You will deliver excellent and inclusive teaching, learning and assessment so that learners are inspired to succeed and progress.

As an enthusiastic expert in Maths, you will integrate appropriate and inspirational curriculum resources including ILT into lessons and plan delivery so that schemes of work and lesson plans support continued high achievement and outstanding progress.

You will undertake ongoing high-quality formative and summative assessment of learners’ work, both in class and through regular out of class activity to monitor progress. You will aim to ensure that learners succeed through progress reviews and initiate and respond to new curriculum developments and plan resources as appropriate.

Educated to degree level or equivalent in Maths or a related subject area, you must have experience of successful teaching (or teaching practice for NTs) in Maths or related courses and hold a full teaching qualification or professional recognition in learning and skills.
