Lecturer in Hairdressing and Barbering

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the vibrant and growing Hairdressing and Barbering section as a full time lecturer. You will be an experienced lecturer with a strong background in all aspects of Hairdressing, Barbering with a relevant Assessors qualification working towards an Internal Quality Assurance qualification.

 This position is for someone who is passionate about passing on their knowledge and experience to people of all ages starting their careers in this high profile industry.

The role will be primarily to consolidate and grow the Further Education and Apprenticeship provision of the department and you should have experience in planning and delivering levels 2 and 3 qualifications.  

The role will involve :

• Exceeding the exceptional standards of quality, teaching and learning that the department is known for.  

• Bringing innovation, commitment and motivation to the section 

• Having a passion for both the industry and education

• Planning and organising delivery to students

• Working with the department to grow the section further
