Role title: Lecturer in Hairdressing

Location: Yale

Contract type: Permanent Full-Time

Salary : £26,911 - £41,598 per annum, based on a salary assessment and relevant experience

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Yale site as a Lecturer in Hairdressing. The successful applicant will develop resources and teaching materials to meet course frameworks and learning outcomes and teach an appropriate timetable in accordance with College Policy. You will provide high quality teaching, learning and assessment for all students/clients to support the mission, aims and strategic objectives of the College. 

Essential Requirements

  • PGCE Qualified or willing to work towards
  • Qualified to a minimum of Level 3 or equivalent in a professionally relevant subject matter 
  • Awareness of the importance of quality standards within teaching
  • Demonstrate an understanding of current developments within your own specialist area and ways of keeping up to date with such developments
  • Knowledge of the broad range of learning needs and how to support these needs within a learning environment
  • Be able to analyse and use key information to inform teaching and learning
