£26,706 - £41,979 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience relevant to the role).

We are looking for experienced lecturers, with health or social care experience to join our Health and Social Care teaching team who can deliver our BTEC L3 programmes and who can prepare our learners for external examinations as part of their Health and Social Care programmes. We are developing courses to equip young people with skills which will be beneficial to the local community and local employers as well as preparing them for Higher Level study at University where they may choose to study a degree leading to social work, nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy or other related professions. We offer good quality delivery to ensure that employers continue to choose us to deliver their training and that young people select New City College for their full time study.

You should demonstrate a good understanding of Health and Social Care through a history of teaching in the area and practical work experience in the field and should hold a relevant health or social care degree and a full teaching qualification.  Recent experience of delivering L3 BTEC programmes is desirable.
