We are recruiting for a Lecturer in Hospitality / Chef Lecturer to teach in our refurbished kitchens at Chichester College. Experience of delivering teaching and learning in a practical and theory environment to a professional standard is essential.
You will have proven experience of the industry and be able to innovatively teach contemporary dishes and methods of cookery whilst opening services in our two restaurants. Our kitchens provide valuable training in realistic working environments and the need for a business minded approach is paramount.
We are looking for an innovative and creative Lecturer who is experienced at working with a diverse range of learners, inspiring them into a career of being the chefs of the future.
You will have a level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in professional cookery, along with a Certificate in Education or PGCE. Knowledge of course leadership is required, as is a knowledge of safeguarding and PREVENT, ensuring that the personal development, behaviour and welfare of learners is a priority.
