We are currently looking to appoint a Lecturer in Humanities, with the ability to teach Politics and History at Cadbury Sixth Form College on a full time, permanent basis starting August 2021


You will work closely with management, colleagues and students to ensure success for both college and students. You will deliver specific programmes that focus on Humanities in line with our prospectus and contributing to our aims and objectives. This will lead to successful outcomes for students and provide a positive overall experience at the college.


This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience in Humanities to help shape the future of Cadbury College. You will have a good track record in raising attainment and standards and will be an innovative practitioner with the ability to think strategically and creatively.


You will be committed to inspiring and motivating students and be a team player with excellent communication skills. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and optimistic and always looking for the best from our students, whilst also continuously working on your own professional development and growth.


An academic background in Politics and History is preferred along with a recognised teaching qualification, (L5 or above). We will also consider someone who is willing to work towards obtaining this qualification. We are looking for an individual who not only has a great theoretical understanding of Politics and History and its practices but also a willingness to share knowledge and expertise with our students to inspire them for future career development. The successful candidate will need to have experience of teaching at A Level and be able to contribute to growth and improvement in the humanities department.
