£24,322.40 - £30,166.40 (pro rata of £30,403 - £37,708 per annum incl. London Weighting Allowance per annum)

The Faculty of LLDD is seeking to appoint committed and two suitably qualified Lecturers in LLDD to tutor and teach two groups of young adults with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.  The role will be based at our newly refurbished Maida Vale Campus.  

To be successful in this role, you will have experience of delivering a structured educational programme to students developing independent living or employability skills. You will have the ability to work flexibly as part of a multi-agency team to ensure high levels of responsiveness to students’ needs, and the ability to offer stimulating, stretching and individualised teaching to a consistently high standard. You will be able to deliver accredited learning, and meet awarding body and internal moderation requirements.  You will have excellent communication, and organisational skills, and a positive approach to problem solving and innovation.

You will hold a recognised Level 5/6 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or be willing to work towards a Diploma Level 5 teaching qualification upon appointment.
