An exciting opportunity has arisen within the motor vehicle department at Sandwell college. We are seeking a lecturer to teach motor vehicle mechanical up to level 3, we are looking for someone who is able to teach and assess on motor vehicle (Maintenance & Repair) programmes, and apply teaching strategies effectively.
What you will need:
•Experience of preparing learning materials for this curriculum area.
•The ability to inspire and engage learners
•A willingness to undertake CPD
•To be able to track and monitor students and provide pastoral support You will have industrial experience as well as teaching experience in this field and preferably hold a teaching qualification as well as an assessor award and a verifier award, or a willingness to work towards gaining these qualifications. Knowledge and industry experience of working in motor vehicle repair & maintenance environment is essential for this role.
